Growing up in the Detroit area of Michigan during the automobile boom of the 50’s and 60’s has been a major influence on how I approach my work today. The use of bright colors, bold shapes and a desired sense of perspective, all of which express an individuality or point view toward the subject matter.

I have a diverse interest in the subjects I paint. I like when my art making explores how to see, experience and relate to both subject and mediumn through pattern, line, shape and color.
